NYC Elder Abuse Center Director, Dr. Mark Lachs and Deputy Director, Risa Breckman, LCSW attended the Symposium on Elder Abuse, which was held at the White House on June 14 in recognition of the 7th Annual World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.  Dr. Lachs spoke about financial exploitation as part of a panel of leading elder abuse experts from around the country.  The event was webcast live on the White House website.
