The National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) and WEAAD Consortium will be sponsoring a webinar event in association with the International Federation on Ageing, NCPEA and NAPSA entitled:

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day— Toward a Global Framework on its 10th Anniversary 

This 1-hour event will take place on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 10:00 AM (PT), 1:00 PM (ET).

Among many agenda items, some highlights of the webinar will be a retrospective of WEAAD accomplishments from the innovator herself, Elizabeth Podnieks, PhD, pilot findings from the WEAAD consortium and a panel discussion on the future of WEAAD provided by: Alex Kalache, MD, Greg Shaw, Trudy Gregorie and Susan Somers, JD.

Registration will open April 15, 2015 and space will be limited. Additional information about registration will be released via the NCEA listserv and posted here when it becomes available.
