Mark S. Lachs, MD, MPH will present the Weill Cornell Medical College’s Department of Medicine Grand Rounds on Tuesday, September 17th in Uris Auditorium. Dr. Lachs’ Grand Rounds presentation is titled, “Age Associated Financial Vulnerability: The Neuroscience and Epidemiology of a Hidden Public Health Crisis.” A widely respected geriatrician and elder abuse researcher, Dr. Lachs has studied the intersection of medicine and elder abuse throughout his career. Dr. Lachs is the Irene F. and I. Roy Psaty Distinguished Professor of Medicine, Co-Chief of the Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine and the Medical Director of the NYC Elder Abuse Center.
This exciting presentation is a free event open to the public. Grand Rounds are given in Uris Auditorium at Weill Cornell Medical College. Uris is immediately to the left when entering the medical college at 1300 York Avenue.
