Presented by NCEA and NCPEA and hosted by the Academy for Professional Excellence, this webinar will explore the benefits and positive impact achieved when elder abuse coalitions and aging services begin to collaborate with crime victim services as partners and stakeholders for strategic planning within communities.The most important benefit is enhanced wrap-around services for older adult victims of abuse and other crimes. An overview of victim services and its intersection with aging services will be provided, as well as tips, strategies, and resources for shared outreach and joint activities to address elder abuse within the community.

The webinar will include a presentation by Trudy Gregorie, JD, who is a National Consultant and Senior Director at Justice Solutions, Washington, DC. Trudy has more than 33 years of experience in criminal and juvenile justice, specializing in victim services.
