An in-depth training designed for individuals who are not geriatric specialists but, because of the nature of their work, do have formal and informal interactions with older adults. This includes, but is not limited to, bank staff, postal carriers, clergy, pharmacists, maintenance staff, etc.

Topics will include:
• Identifying and defining the role of the community gatekeeper
• Indicators and types of abuse
• Identification of potential abuse and referral strategies
• Community resources
