Older adults are more likely to sustain traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) than members of any other age group; yet TBI is often misunderstood or neglected– even though brain injuries can make it harder for elders to live independently, limit their cognitive abilities and lead to mental health challenges.

Join the Geriatric Mental Health Alliance of New York for this presentation by Mary Hibbard, PhD, who is a Professor at New York University’s Department of Rehabilitation. Attendees will learn to identify older adults at risk for TBI and address their mental health and emotional problems. For more information about this event and to register, click here.
