Presented by the National Adult Protective Services Association (NAPSA) and the National Committee to Prevent Elder Abuse (NCPEA), this Winter 2013 Research-to-Practice (R2P) webinar will explore the differences between pure financial exploitation (PFE) and hybrid financial exploitation (HFE) as they occur in the elderly population. Shelly Jackson, Ph.D. will share findings from her research on this topic, and implications for how professionals intervene and work with victims of pure financial exploitation vs. hybrid financial exploitation will be discussed.
