This webinar, hosted by Jewish Women International, will feature a presentation by Lesley Ashworth, national educator and consultant, and Allie Phillips, nationally-recognized author, attorney and advocate.

The webinar will explore the link between intimate partner violence and animal abuse, focusing on strategies and options for supporting victims and their pets in shelters and through outside resources.

By the conclusion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

• Understand the link between animal abuse and intimate partner violence
• Recognize resources and tools to screen for animal abuse and assist victims’ pets
• Identify strategies for creating a welcoming space for pets and victims in shelters and programs
