The New York State Assembly Standing Committee on Aging will host a Public Hearing in New York City on Tuesday, December 11th, beginning at 10:00AM. The subject of the hearing will be “Studying the Efforts of State Agencies to Prevent Financial Exploitation of the Elderly”. It will explore efforts taken by the State Office for the Aging and the Department of Financial Services to improve education relating to financial exploitation of seniors and increase prevention.
