The National Consumer Voice for Quality Long-Term Care is bringing together individuals who receive long-term services and supports in their home. They are seeking input and thoughts on issues related to individuals’ experience of home care.

By participating in the Home Care Consumer Focus Group, individuals will have a chance to tell the Consumer Voice what they think about ideas for changes in long-term care, as well as their experiences with long-term home care. The feedback received will then be used to guide the Consumer Voice’s policy work.

This focus group is ONLY open to individuals who receive long-term services and supports in their home. Names will not be shared outside the group, and nothing said will affect the services participating individuals are receiving.

The next meeting of the Home Care Consumer Focus Group will take place by telephone on a toll-free conference line on Thursdsay, December 11th, 2013 from 3:00-4:00pm ET. Participants will include will home care consumers and Consumer Voice staff, who will ask questions. These questions will be sent to participants ahead of time, and individuals will have time to respond to the questions on the call.
