JASA’s Elder Abuse Training Institute is an interdisciplinary training for professionals and community gatekeepers, which improves understanding of and response to the various forms of elder abuse. The Institute educates social service, health, mental health, medical, legal, and financial professionals. JASA is an innovative leader in the field of elder abuse, helping hundreds of victims each year through the Legal/Social Work Elder Abuse Program (LEAP).
The fifth of five workshops, “Health/Mental Health Perspectives on Addressing Elder Abuse” will take place on Thursday, May 7th.
