This course is designed to offer a comprehensive overview of elder abuse specifically for individuals who provide financially-focused services to older adults, such as accountants, financial managers, bank personnel, geriatric care managers, social workers and daily money managers.

Topics will include:
• Prevention, intervention and warning signs
• Financial abuse: types, risk factors, red flags
• Power of Attorney: advantages and disadvantages, fiduciary responsibilities and potential risk factors
