DESCRIPTION

With financial exploitation and physical and emotional abuse of older adults on the rise, an increasing number of professionals serving this population are looking for training opportunities to familiarize themselves with the forms of elder abuse, understanding what are the causes, and how it can be addressed.

Topics include:
• Exploring the unique dynamics of elder abuse
• Identifying types of abuse and warning signs
• Presenting information and best practices
• Providing intervention strategies and resources

Fee: $40 plus $35 for CEH
CEH provided

Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service is the provider of social work continuing education hours (CEH), as approved by the New York State Education Department Board of Social Work.

Three (3) CEH credits are available for this workshop for an additional fee.
