The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) recently released a guide about senior financial adviser designations. Designed to educate older adults about the importance of selecting a financial adviser carefully, the guide provides helpful resources and information about the variability of training for individuals who label themselves as “financial advisers.” To explore this issue and the guide further, the CFPB is hosting a free webinar.
