The training is geared towards those who have interaction with the public and is designed to enhance understanding of the impact of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia disorders (ADRD). Topics to be discussed include how ADRD may enhance a person’s vulnerability for abuse, neglect or exploitation, and realistic outcomes and proven techniques to consider when engaging with clients.
